Cruise Critic readers name Oceania Cruises’ `Riviera’ `best for’ cruises,
staterooms, embarkation, service, dining and public rooms
Oceania Cruises’ mid-sized luxury cruise ship `Riviera’ has endorsed the line’s commitment to comfort, cuisine and service by sweeping the board in the Cruise Critic UK readers’ awards. Oceania Cruises picked up six top awards, including best cruises overall, best ship for dining and best ship for service, for the newest ship in the fleet, Riviera. The company was also cited in the top five in three additional categories.
Riviera is Oceania Cruises’ second purpose –built ship (her sister ship Marina was launched in 2012) and was designed with epicureans in mind and to reflect the company’s key pillars of comfort, service and cuisine, upon which the line was founded just over a decade ago.
Bernard Carter, Senior Vice President and Managing Director EMEA Oceania Cruises, said “The Cruise Critic UK awards are very significant and endorse what we have been building and achieving for over a decade now. Most importantly, they are significant because they were given by readers, based on their experiences of sailing with us. Undoubtedly our new ship `Sirena’ will build on Riviera’s success when she debuts on 27th April 2016 following a 35-day, $40 million refurbishment.”
